I'm such a hat girl. Beanies, snap back's, fedora's. I just feel like they add a fun element to any outfit, or maybe I just have some affinity for head wear, I don't know. I actually wore a backwards Montreal Canadian's hat about two-third's of my childhood. I don't know where it came from, or why Montreal. No Canadian lineage here...that I know of. But, there was definitely something about that hat. Anyways, I don't know if I'd call myself stylish back then, but I did have a very purposeful way of putting my outfits together (even if my clothes were from the boy's department in Land's End). My Colorado Rockies purple tee would pick up the purple vertical lines that ran down the side of my mesh shorts, high socks, low pony tail, and a backwards hat. I was a vision. I actually received quite a bit of harassment from other girls about that hat and pony tail. They didn't understand why I wouldn't wear my hair down. They'd actually team up on me, hold me down, and try (keyword) to pull my hair out. Some of them could be pretty relentless about it. Which brings me to a point that has nothing, and everything, to do with this post; wear what you want to wear, be who you want to be, and screw those bitches.
