Summer is finally here and like everyone else, our calendar is already filled with work, weddings, concerts, and trips. This is K and I's busy season with work, so these days fly by. Because of this I try to make it a priority to plan things that give us a chance to slow down and have fun with our family and friends. I'm psyched that we are somehow fitting four different shows in this summer. One of those being an anniversary trip I've planned around one of our favorite bands (more to come on that later!). It's easy to forget to do things for yourself but get a plan and make it happen, you deserve it!
With all our upcoming events I've begun to scout some outfits to prepare. These pants are one of my most recent purchases. I wanted a good white pant for the summer days and was hoping to find something different material wise than a jean. I love the high-waisted/wide-leg look and the material is really light and comfortable, perfect for the summer temps. It's also a pant that I'll get a ton of wear from. A crop and a statement necklace is a fun 'drinks with friends' look, but you can also lose the crop and create a much more formal work-look with a blouse or button down. Buying pieces that I know are easily transitioned from work to play is key to a healthy budget!
