For the Casually Inclined

An Early Fall Look

We've continued to luck out this September with the weather. It's been warm and sunny and we've been making sure to take advantage of our outdoor time when possible. C loves running around in the backyard, and picking up leaves and yelling 'BUG!' whenever he gets a glimpse of an ant or any other critter that's roaming around.

As much as I love the summer weather the fall color schemes are my most favorite to wear. I gravitate towards the darker shades and the more muted tones (mustard yellows, darker rose pinks, military greens) so I get excited when this season rolls around. I got this maxi a few seasons ago (Urban Outfitters) and have gotten so much wear out of it. The temps are still allowing for the sleeveless shirts so I paired it with one of my favorites high neck tanks that I got from ASOS. I think this cut adds something different and really helps showcase a statement necklace look.

Stay tuned later this week as I also try to get out house together for the fall season. I'll be sharing some new decor in our living and dining rooms and talking tips on how to stay cost effective in the changing seasons.

I'd love to hear from you! What are some of your favorite fall color combos you like to incorporate in your own outfits, or home decor?
